Ex-Fuck Buttons member, producer and professional nob-twiddler Benjamin John Power (pka Blanck Mass) has just shared another brutal offering from his forthcoming new album Animated Violence Mild. The ominously-titled new track 'Love Is A Parasite' sees the artist once again delivering his unmistakable brand of industrial synth-noise. Powered by metallic beats that resemble the hi-pitched trills of a pneumatic drill, saturated synth sounds fight their way through the dense sonic landscape to provide guiding melodies over the 6 and a half minute track duration. Discussing the video Power explained, "I wanted to speak to Craig Murray about making the ‘...Parasite' video as his work definitely bridges that gap between the grotesque and the beautiful that I am so keen on" explains Power. "Presenting the darker theme of global mass consumerism whilst poking fun at the '80s and starring a Drag Queen overseeing chaos wasn't going to be an easy task but he nailed it." -Holly Mullineaux
